Uchiwa Ota-ya

This fan features a traditional Japanese wind chime (f??rin) in a gentle paper-cut-style design.
The chime motif is cut out, revealing yukata fabric on the reverse that subtly shows through, as if echoing the sound of a summer breeze.

The combination of the soft green background and delicate motif evokes a peaceful twilight scene.
Each fan is handcrafted with care using traditional Boshu Uchiwa techniques and medake bamboo.
