Limited edition and entirely handmade by a government-certified Traditional Artisan,
Ota-ya Edo Uchiwa (B??sh?? Uchiwa) combines bamboo, washi, and yukata cotton, and features swallow-shaped cutouts on deep purple that reveal the yukata fabric—symbols of good fortune and safe travels.
Each fan is carefully handmade using traditional Boshu Uchiwa techniques and supple medake bamboo.
Materials: Bamboo, washi paper, cotton (yukata)
